Eating Air: the Novelisation

I've agreed, with no small degree of folly, to embark on a novelisation of Kelvin Tong and Jasmine Ng's amazing motorcycle pai kiah indie flick of 1999, Eating Air. I'm being commissioned by the National Library Board and the National Book Development Council of Singapore by way of Firstfruits Publications.

UPDATE: I'm done with the first draft... awaiting comments from the directors.

The Final Temptation of Stamford Raffles

I wrote this weird historical dream-play for Action Theatre's Theatre Idols festival, about the life of Sir Stamford Raffles. It didn't get into the finals, but a couple of directors are interested in it. I'll be workshopping it at World Interplay.
